~What message are you getting when you attempt to upload?
~-Have you voted in the voting booth yet?
~Is your image sized at 1600 x 1200 maximum?
These are a couple of things that might be stopping you from uploading.
Ι have done all the above, except voting booth (what is this?) !!!
there is no "message error", i couls say that the page is freezing
after uploading....
Well typically an upload can take several minutes to go through ESPECIALLY if you're on dial-up. Then you might want to leave it uploading and go have dinner. But, if you haven't voted yet then the system is not supposed to allow you to upload anyway. You are asked to vote on 10 images in the random voting booth for each one you want to upload. There is also a link to the voting booth in the navigation menu on the left side of the screen at all times.
The problem is unrelated to voting because members with no gallery images aren't required to vote. It sounds like you are just not waiting long enough for the file to get transfered to the server. If you are on a residential connection the upload speed to your ISP is most liely very slow (to limit P2P file sharing).
Oh so the first upload is "free"? I did not know that. I'm going to start calling you the candy man :).
As an approximate rule on any connection, it seems it will take you about as long to upload an image as it will to download a song (since an MP3 is a few times larger and uploading is a few times slower than downloading). Of course that's a very rough and un-scientific estimate, but the point is even if it seems like the upload is frozen it probably isn't...
Perhaps you should try uploading a "test image" that is of very low file size (eg just a black image sized 800X600 saved for net) and see if it is successful. At least then you would know if your ISP speed is the problem?
