I had a photo posted a good while back...and I went to find it in my Gallery here and its gone. Why would it be gone out of my own gallery?

Images are deleted after some time. If tthe image made it into the permanent galleries then it can also be removed once in a while to just freshen up the gallery. This should not be taken as a personal attack on your images. It happens to everybody. There is only so much storage space, so only the very best images can be kept.

You know when somebody has a serious illness that causes them to lose their hair .. and the friends and family shave their heads in sympathy to show support and camaraderie

I think we should ALL post our own "where'd my pic go" thread ... Let's all rally around Verena and show that we are there for her

Well, Im sorry, I guess I didnt know a personal gallery had pictures removed out of it. I can understand the permanent gallery..and I go thru my personal gallery every now and then and delete some, either 'cause they are old or they've had their run on here. etc. Ya don't have to "rally around Verena" sheeeeeeeeeeesh!!...Then again..sure thang! go ahead, I need a bit of TLC....so go for it! hehehe .I just didn't understand what happened to it. It was a photo of my little granddaughter and she got a big kick out of seeing how many people had viewed that one of her...and she asked me to check tonight, and I saw her sad look when she saw it was gone. She is 8 and a very sweet girl. Well, maybe I'll post a new one of her..But thank Mr Keiffer!! lol...for such a great sympathetic comment!

Your "personal" gallery is just a mirror of your contributions to the "new images" gallery .. and, possibly .. the "permanent" galleries if the planets happen to come into alignment at the same time as the wind blows exactly 253 degrees southwest and a fox's ear twitches to the sound of sleigh bells somewhere in the world

It doesn't exist separately on its own ... some of your gallery will still be in "new images" while others will be in the "perm galleries" and, yes, sadly, some will be in a cybernetic trash compactor
