So what do you get for the 100th thread ? Besides a sculpture, that is....

Grief .. everything in life is accompanied by grief .. whether now or down the road = grief

Some woman will approach you on the street after overhearing you introduce yourself to the meter-maid because you like women in uniform .. and proceed to relate the story of her only son flunking out of college because he became addicted to an art site after reading a thread .. something about threads .. a hundred of them, or something .. so he decided to see what the hub-bub was about, since he later said very few forums ever reach the 100's of threads milestone.

She goes on to say that he became addicted to wallpaper, possibly the glue that holds it to the wall, she wasn't sure .. she's heard some things about glue, so that would make sense .. and now he's a bum and NOT the successful doctor he should have been by now. He just babbles the name Milo over and over as though he was a figure from ancient lore. (*she pauses to look you up and down*) .. "You're not what I was expecting .. but your rear is going to feel my boot regardless of your lineage" .. she states, matter of factly.

She, then, proceeds to wail on you with her purse, and using the aforementioned boot when the opportunity arrises .... the meter maid just looks on with concealed amusement .. as she did not care for your interest in her clothing over the contents of her mind .. and proceeds to ticket your car and move on to the next infractor

You know what, Milo ? Keith's absolutely right. Are you aware of the kind of grief that's going to rain upon the site when they do try to sculpt your likeness somewhere ?!

They'll pick some site out west that will have all the enviromentalists & tree huggers & the great unwashed hoi polloi foaming at the mouth at the desecration of some land where one lone butterfly rested an eon ago on his flight to Boca Raton.....

i would have to argue that point laurengary. The point of this thread is to draw attention to the fact that there is 100 posts in this board and to celebrate how large this site has become. Very soon this thread will die because that purpose will expire. The same thing should happen with the pronouciation of caedes thread. Every possible way of pronouncing it has been discused. So no one should need to add anything, so it should now die, just like this one will.

Why can't you just relax and have a little fun.. You take things too seriously.. You started this, now live with it.. I intend to have fun with it, and that other one, as along as possible.. Give it up.. Relax.... GIGGLE, for goodness sake.. It would do you a world of good.. Even if you don't want to, that is no reason to spoil it for others!!!!!!!!!!!!!
