I uploaded an image yesterday evening, after voting on 10 images in the voting booth. This morning I checked to see when I could upload again, and was told "6:34pm" and that I would need to vote on another 10. All good so far. Tonight, however, I have gone to upload, and the message I recieved is:
"In the last 24 hours, you've uploaded 1 images and voted (randomly) on 0 images. You need to vote on 10 images for each image that you upload. We calculate that you need 20 more votes in order to upload another image. You can go to the voting page now in order to satisfy this requirment and then come right back here to upload your image. Please note that only the Random Votes will satisfy this requirement."
What has happened? Why has it "lost" the record of the 10 that I voted on yesterday? I can see this perpetuating until I end up having to vote on 1000 before uploading - lol - So who can tell me what's happened here?

The problem was that the voting requirement was using a 24 hour day while the "one upload a day" requirement was using a 20 hour day. So you apparently uploaded twice within the 24 hour period in which the votes are counted. But notice that the message you got was totally accurate. You did upload one image and vote on zero in that 24 hour period. You just didn't expect it to require you to provide votes for that previous image that you uploaded because you already did that, however those votes were not within the 24 hour window and so didn't count. I've fixed this by changing the voting counting window to 20 hours (the same as the daily upload limit time period).
