I have a fractal that I think would look great mirrored, with the two fractals partially overlapping and blended. Unfortunately I don't have the software to accomplish what I have in mind - I use PhotoFiltre and it doesn't have any layer capabilities, not to mention I wouldn't know where to start if it did. Is anyone interested in playing around with it? The fractal makes a nice wing, and I think it could be turned into a pretty angel in the right hands.

You could try .. The GIMP .. it's free .. I've never used it but people here have .. It would give you access to Photoshop Like capabilities

Run the "Make Bilateral" script. It probably won't do exactly what you want, but it might work.
