i just got the program and i'm a little stumped. i have been finding little things here and there but i still don't really understand. what exactly do those little triangles in the editor do? what are they for? why does the number of them change? how do i use the script editor? are there commands or something i could learn? how do i do anything? ive messed around with the mutation thing a lot but i can't really do anything specific. i understand its not like a program where you visualize something and make it, more like 'chance' or something. if anyone could help me out learning this program from the ground up, it would be at least a help to have some launch pad for me to go off.

Perhaps you should put words like "script editor" and "triangle" out of your head and off your list until you have the basics down and you are comfortable with it ... then ... you can light the world on fire

I have read very little of the above .. because apophysis is one of those programs that is easily approachable and doesn't require a lot of schooling .. unlike some others

Make sure you ahve the latest version of apophysis, as there are alot more options in the editor, among other things. Stuffnstuff's tutorial is good for getting started, but don't be afraid to use the editor. Heck, I haven't even opened the mutation window in ages...

Just had to pipe in here... Just had to throw in a thanks for the links to these areas for Apophysosis. Been playing around with it, and can't seem to do anything with it (kind of like my hair). Hopefully this will get me on the right track also for using this program.

There are NUMEROUS folk here who will be glad to help .. not me tho .. ;o)
