Now dont get me wrong, this site is absolutly awesome, it has some of the best pics i've ever seen, but has anyone ever given thought to expanding and adding some pics of some favourite bands, music, films or games, maybe even more pics of famous or popular people, perhaps even some swimsuit desktops :)

There are plenty of websites out there that center on popular topics . . . There are few that offer artistic images in a shared environment. While the above mentioned have their place, they do not match the overall goal I feel Caedes.net wishes to achieve.

I completly agree with you, this site is one of the best in terms of its offerings, I was just trying to start an intelligent (ahem) discussion. But this site definitly offers some of the best photography ad graphical art I have ever seen. Then again, a larger range of desktops might attract more attention for those who have not shared the Caedes expeirence.

I am strongly opposed to any such thing as swimsuit wallpapers... there are plenty of wallpapers sites where that is all they have... We do not need to stoop to that level. Things such as favorite bands and the likes are fine, but cater to such a narrow audience that it is not worth cluttering up the other images.

I agree with beowulf about the swimsuit wallpapers, I'd take a pass on that.

There are many sites for swimsuits... and there are nearly not serious sites, that privilege the photographic art or the compo-art.
This site is unique. It is not necessary to damage him...

I do honestly appreciate and prefer the nature photographs this site offers from some great photographers, such as ppigeon, WinterNight, cc_Beowulf and not to mention, many others (among them caedes).

Thanks for the thought, but I don't think I have any of my own photography on the site. :-|

I thought that baltic sunset 1 and 2 were yours, it was a while ago that I downloaded them, but I was sure they were yours.

I agree that the art I have seen on here has mostly been one of a kind. I am trying my hand at this graphics thing under Linux. What I would like to see
is dramatic pictures of nature in black and white. Like thunderstorms and oceans and things like that. I can see them in my head I just can't get it to the computer quite yet.
