Yes, you heard right! T Mobile has my phone and my $200 and refuses to give me back either one.
Their customer service repeatedly lied to me when I would speak with them, and just today when I asked to speak with a supervisor, was hung up on by one who refused to let me speak, and then hung up on again by another supervisor after admitting that Tmo customer service mis-informed me on various occasions, and then telling me he would not send me a phone, he would not return my damaged phone I had sent to them, and he would not refund me.
I was one of those people who sang T Mobile's praises, but something like this really shows their true colors. If you are currrently with T Mobile and have a major issue at any time, be careful, they may screw you. If you are considering changing cellphone providers, please don't sign with T Mobile.
I have filed complaints with the FCC, Federal Trade Commission, BBB, Public Utilities as well as notifying my local news (hopefully they will contact me and make a story from it).
LOL...that really sucks...I would do the exact same thing you have done...hope things work out...to much relief I am not with them...LOL..I will be sure to pass the word...
Well I just got an email from the BBB saying that they have reviewed my case and have noted a mark against T Mobile, and have also contacted them about resolving the issue. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Hopefully they'll decide that my $200 isn't worth all this attention from the big 4...and will refund me to get the BBB, FCC, FTC, and Public Ut's off their back.
Well Tmo called yesterday (Corporate office) they got a complaint from the BBB and would like to discuss the issue with my account. I called back but got a message machine. So today they called again, seems that they now have an email from a news station, and they would really like to discuss my issues with my account and see if things can be resolved. Again I got their machine. Guess they'll call back again when they hear from the FCC, Federal Trade Commision, and Public Utilities...wonder how willing they will be to give me my $200 back after all this...
Perhaps if their supervisors had been willing to work with me, instead of being rude and hanging up on me...
