I just spent 1.5 hours joining all the lines on autocad export into usable shapes in Illustrator. Unfortunately… nobody checked the tech 1st.
So now I have an idiot tech guy (he's not usually an idiot, but i'm PISSED) insisting that it's not the right proportions because he sent it in millimeters instead of inches. I blew the friggin thing up to full size proportionally, using the width as my benchmark, whereupon the height was 6 inches short. Maybe I'm just really not too bright. I dunno how inches instead of millimeters for rulers is going to correct THAT problem.
Then we have the idiot art director (who is always an idiot) insisting that she told him that the art area was supposed to be 50" tall, not the overall structure (which is wrong either way), and him insisting that no she didn't, and me sitting there "clearly there was miscommunication, can we just fix this so I can continue?"
And both of them standing @ my desk refusing to give up the argument. ARRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
its ok...i feel this way w/teachers...once....i put paint on my art teacher's chair...I didn't get caught :) and he had a blue @$$ after that :D he thought it was sum1 else...he got in trouble not me :D I don't suggest you do the paint thing though...u might get fired. :)
in a future civilization scientists in the eastern hemisphere developed a way to microscopicize humans. However, unknown to the immediate benefactors of this incredible break through, the microscopic humans became as a virus and infected even the most mundane items such as dry breakfast cereal. With this calamity it became known that bigger is better no matter what ruler you use to measure.
hmm...i have just gotten so confused! doing paper work and reading posts on threads is too much for my mind to...idk some big word goes after that...o wl :'(
