Also, a question for anyone with experience: why is it that on pages with alot of images that some of them don't fully load? Is there a way I can prevent this from happening?

My, my Sam how far you have come with your home project. I like the kitchen a lot . I also have wood floors and yours have come along well.

The problem is probably due to the sheer number of images that you have on the page. Since they are all at full size they take a long time to downlaod and a lot of memory to display simultaneously. You should use thumbnails to conserve bandwidth and visitor time. DO you have Photoshop? It can make a web-based photo album pretty easily.

Love your kitchen ! When your done you can come do mine....pretty please ? And whose cute little silver car was that, & what type was it ? I don't think I've ever seen that in America .....

When did you say you were coming over to do my house?? I dont have much to do honest, only new kitchen, bathroom, paint inside and out, build a room under the house just have to do internal walls.. not much really, im sure you can fly through it.. =) any time is fine for me... hehehehehehehe... you've done a great job on yours, that deck makes a huge difference to the back of the house, love your kitchen and bedroom...

Some new photos in the Bathroom and Kitchen sections. I have also divided the photos up so the pages don't take as long to load (all the new photos are on the "after" pages). Apart from some minor touchups whcih won't be visible in these pictures anyway, and some new "decor" here and there, these rooms are as they will be when I put the place on the market.

Wow ... Sam ... magical transformation may be the operative phrase.

I have been involved in a few renos myself and it can be quite the surprise once the teardown starts. Came across a previous fire in one situation, the damage from that fire was hidden from the then owners. Try telling someone that their original estimates are really out the window and the code violations and and and ... can be a nightmare.

Are those halogen light fixtures in the bathroom? Love the counter top and washing bowls, really a classy look. Great shower fixture too. 'K, I better stop. This is almost the equivalent of opening up the hood ... the male counterpart of our species comes out of the woodwork and starts to congregate, lol.

Your renovation looks awesome Sam! I love the deck .......I really like how you made it open, yet there is privacy. Everything in the house (especially the kitchen) is so sleek and classy looking. It makes me want to go rip out my kitchen right now! The rock below the island/bar is a very novel touch that I also like. You put those really cool sinks in the bathroom and from what I could tell, the modern faucets?
I tip my hat to you on a job well done my friend. You deserve a vacation after all of that work :~)

I love vessel sinks, I told my husband that's what I wanted in our bathroom too, but I think it's too modern a look for him. Course, I like glass & maybe I could get him to go for stone instead. The stonework on your kitchen island is gorgeous & your floors look like mine, polished cherry ? You did a beautiful job on your place, if you come here & do my kitchen I'll house ya & feed ya too......for free ! Deal ? I've already started getting my kitchen cabinets on the cheap, but I figure the more money I save as I go the more money I'll have when crunch time comes & we get to buy a counter.

We buy small, old, neglected houses and completely renovate them to sell, so the "during" pictures were a very familiar site :) Your house is beautiful... I especially love the kitchen, you can definately tell it's the home of an artist...I love your style and congrats on your accomplishment.
