Ok, a very nice idea ... one noob question ... or two ... hmm, maybe three.
I have unfortunately, placed a number of flames within a single Apophysis file. I can certainly get a Notepad file from the one and only render I have done, as that was separate.
If I open the entire file of flame(s) ... it appears that my data looks different than what has been already shown here and on other threads. Here is one:
It seems to work ok, as I just tried pasting the info into Apophysis, so ... maybe it's a 'nvm.' Thought just in case some of us other noobs tried to contribute and came across this ... well, rest assured things are not rotten in the State of Fractals. :P
The one I have contributed here has an interesting pattern and texture. It got messed up a little and I am trying to re-fine tune it. Ohh, yeah ... messed up some files and deleted the original install and and and ... well, things were rotten for a bit, lost the file associations, etc. . Semi-back to normal ... you know, my usual state.
'K, who's next?
Oh, last thing ... Andrew ... your flame ... took over a minute to render just in the preview. Annnnd ... I don't even want to think about how long an actual render would take, lol.
Let me know and I will edit out that nefarious piece of "data," if it is not needed. Prolly not, methinks. But, I wouldn't want you to miss out on the laugh ... you know, that 'self-deprecating stuff.' :P
I swear that I tried the previous and it worked. I tested this 'version' and it seems to be ok, even though the file looks different.
Now, that was in the 2.03 c version. Just ... just tested it in the 2.02 and interestingly and prolly explainable ... without the colour data ... it 'rendered' alright ... although, it took on the first random flame's colours that was atuomatically generated when I opened the program. Try it ... and let me know.
As for yours, it worked ... I did see it in in both the "Editor" window and finally (recall the time it took that I referred to - over a minute or so) and then in the preview window. So no problems with yours.
'K, deep breath ... serenity now ... serenity now ... oh god, serenity now, lol.
