I have read all the Terry Pratchett books, I own quite a few of them in hard-cover because I don't want to wait around for the paperback versions to hit the shelves, At the moment I am reading the fifth book in the Worldwar series, titled 'Down to Earth' by Harry Turtledove. when I am finished with that one, I have '1633' by David Weber waiting for me.
I read the Princess Diaries books (all of them - there's 6 volumes and two more books) last year, and I'm rereading them for a fanfiction I'm working on..
I gave up on War and Peace The Early Years cuz I didn't want to spend all that time reading it. Now I'm reading the New York City phone book and it is just about as exciting.
I forgot...what am I reading? I finished the NYC phone book and I am now taking a look at the Congressional Record, I heard it's pretty good...dry in spots but good.
I'm reading a manual on how to read directions. Primarily those that you get with everything you buy and have to put together yourself. You know the stuff that when you get near completion and find out there is a critical piece missing.
You had a pretty picture, you had a pretty smile, you had a heart of ice and you put me in denial. You broke my heart a thousand times, you broke my heart just once, you made me see all i need is me and not some stupid... girl.

I recommend The Brethren by Grisham. I have read it two or three times now and decided I need to buy it.
I also recommend Ender's Game. I have read the paperback three times and the audio (unabridged) once, but Ender's Shadow has inspired me to read it yet again.
Luke - in my opinion "A Time to Kill" is John Grisham's best work. I've read and own all of his stuff except for one I think, but that one ranks as one of the best books I've ever read. Don't think you know it if you've seen the movie, you're missing alot by not reading the book.
I just started Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett a month or two ago, but I haven't been reading it a whole lot lately. On the other hand, The King of Torts, another Grisham, is shaping up nicely.

I would not you try them on a thread.
I would not like them with some bread.
I don't read childrens books you goose...
I don't read books by Dr Seuss!!!
I am reading several books at the moment, 'The Ram Rebellion': by Eric Flint, 'Free Zone': by Charles Platt, and 'The Last Hero': by Terry Pratchett. (It all depends on where I am, I always keep a book at work, another book in the car, and one by the bed.)
just finished a koontz novel, about to start a stephen king novel about cellphones...then probably another koontz or saul book...for some reason summer is usually my scary book season.
The Golden Compass... is that a Phillip Pullman? Might be what we English call Northen Lights... I couldn't put that down, along with the second... the third I found I kept getting halfway through and got distracted by a butterfly.
Right now I'm not reading anything in particular... I'm waiting until I go on holiday so I can read the novel I bought, can't remember the name or the author, but he wrote The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, so it should be good.
Frankenstein. Nothing like what you expect (assuming you expect what is in the movies...) Also just finished a book of Sherlock Holmes stories, which for some reason I always assumed would be longer.
"East of the Mountains" by David Guterson, also wrote "Snow Falling on Cedars" Both are filled with excellent excellent descriptive imagery of the scenery and wonderful story line to follow...
i'm reading me post this thread :D
