i am about to order a custom built laptop and need some ideas for the paintwork i am about to order for it.. just lookup fragbook in google from northwestern for some ideas of already completed work in the gallery

If you're a patriot .. then go for the UK flag .. (or perhaps a picture of the Queen, waving) .. or ... perhaps some british pounds .. burning .. since Falcon Systems are overpriced .. (especially with a custom paintjob) .. when the custom paint desktop systems showed up .. it was, like, $400 for the paint (if memory serves)

If that is in your budget, though, go for it .. you're only young (or 30) once ...

or you could just say sod the paint job and just buy a far more powerful Alienware laptop for the same cash - and it's not very often you'll see Alienware and good value in a sentence together so the 'fragbook' does look hideously overpriced when you compare the specs. They're also no strangers to garish and odd designs too so they should fit your bill completely.

Guy I just input basically the same stuff I have in the desktop im using and it came to $3,245.51 without paint job, if I was to choose that option single color would be about $550 and Im guessing they would paint anything I wanted for roughly$1500 .I built mine myself and have about $1000 in it minus a monitor and case which I aready had.So if you add the price of my monitor and the case I have that would make what I have in mine around $1300 roughly $2000 less,so I say yea they are way over priced.Of course I dont have the cool T-Shirt and mousing surface.All I have to say is wow,you must have more money to blow than me.

thing about those desktops systems is though they play havoc with your knees when your trying to work on the plane/train etc :-)

I have a little red wagon that I pull mine around with,which is another problem if I ordered a custom painted machine I would then have to take the wagon somewhere and have it painted to match the computer.See more money spent I guess thats why they give out T-shirts with the purchase,cause after you buy the thing no money left to buy clothing : )

youd have to get spinners for the cart and under carriage neon lighting to match the puter. obviously. pimp my wagon as it were.

Hmm – I’m not sure pimpin'your puter could exactly be defined as a serious thread but in the spirit of getting back on track you may want to consider buying any old regular powerful laptop and having a design vinyl wrapped onto it. Companies can vinyl wrap most things these days from a truck to an iPod so when you get inevitably bored of the design you can just remove it and put another one on instead.

Take This to the LAN parties .. you'll be the envy of all your mates .. especially when you have to employ them fulltime to hook it up

or ... this .. no reason why you can't make a little money while you're there
