I only wish I was retired .... but currently I am Correctional Officer in Ontario, Canada. (Jail Guard).
I am addicted to computer graphics and am constantly on the look-out for sites that can help me get my fix(s). :)
Looks like a great site, and I will try to get more active as I find out where everything is....

I'm a computer artist for a juvenile furniture manufacturer. Sometimes I get to draw my own art, more often I use licensed artwork (Disney, Nickelodeon, etc) to decorate various table & chair sets, toyboxes, shelves, etc.

Other than that, i'm a general goofball, grandparent-taker-careof, swimmer, spades freak, call-in-a-crisis, and all-around entertainment. I was recently described as a one-woman entertainment show. I think it was a compliment, but I could just be deluding myself.

My family and I own a small restaurant/ convenience store. Most of our customers are locals. Previously I worked in the Radiology department at one of the local hospitals for about 20 years. I just wanted to spend more time with my family as I got older and even though I have to work harder it is much more rewarding because I am with my family all day which to me is priceless!

Well, for half the year, I am an attentive mother of twins who I am homeschooling...during the next half of the year (football season, go Raiders) I am a psychotic, foul mouthed, bad finger flipping, beer throwing football fan. My kids have learned some "special" words during football season, and now have taken to charging me a quarter everytime one of those words fles out of my mouth...so my 5 year olds have become genuises at making money!

Ya, I used to be all stressed out about that, but then I just went with something that combined all my interests, which was kind of hard, but I managed I guess. I'm still not 100% sure about the teaching thing but I do know I want to go to Africa and teach there, so I might as well do it here too.

LOL gotta love those career counsellors....sure put me on the right path as a kitchen hand...

Actually, that sounds like quite a job. Does anyone know any career counsellors? If so, how much are they paid? ;)

Anyway, I'm a university student desperate for my career path to throw itself in front of me screaming 'take me, I'm yours!!'

Oh...wait....wrong dream.....

Definite hats off to the Mums....er....Moms...er....Mama's......
I have no idea how you guys do it-I can't even keep my dog from getting fat. I would be such a bad mother; poor kids would be cleaning the house all day and I'd just be lazing by the pool eating chocolate and filling out my contestant form for the 29th season of Biggest Loser...

So hats off to the Mums and Dads of Caedes...maybe we could suggest to the all seeing eye something to celebrate all the parents/guardians who find time to post and parent?

NB: I'm guessing purmusic is the leader of the local Quick Quips Quickly Quipped Society...either that or he's a bitter ex-programmer for Microsoft who was shafted in nasty layoffs and now spends his time plotting his revenge by subverting local arts groups and stirring up dissent amongst the hippy community.

Just a thought :D
