I was just wondering if any of you out there use Linux, of any version? And if you do, what software might you use to create original images besides GIMP. ?

I use Redhat 7.x and Mandrake 9.0. I really haven't found a good replacment for Photoshop, so I'm forced to keep a Win98 partition handy.

I am running.. or trying to run Xandros right now.. GMP is pretty good.. but I have Illistrator 7 , Director 5 and Photoshop 7 , I am guessing that not many people use Linux for grahics oranything like that

I see all of the suggested Software to use, and only Adobe will run under a Linux OS. Does anyone have any experience using WINE with any of these ?

From my investigations I've found that Photoshop 5 will run under Wine but PS 6 will not. I don't know about PS 7, but I'm going to guess that it won't. =(
