I'm not exactly biting at the bit to pay $8 to see it. Having said that it'll probably still be one of only two movies I go see this year.

Heh, I can get in to any movie for 2 bucks....Canadian. Sequels are difficult tthings to pull off in my opinion, just hope matrix turns out to be everything it seems in the commercials. "Amélie Poulain"? Haven't heard a word about it over here.

I'm waiting for 2 movies, Matrix Reloaded, and The third part that is gonna be ready for December.

I wonder if they will generate enough ticket sales for the third movie. It is usually considered bad marketing to release two sequels in the same year. But then again, it is the Matrix . . . and movies of this type do generate a large following. I also have not heard of the movie ppigeon . . . who is the main actor?

I inquired:
The American title is ' Amelie'
It is a French movie of Jean-Pierre Jeunet (the director of Alien 4), with Audrey Tautou and Mathieu Kassovitz.
See http://video.go.com/amelie
It is an absolutely magnificent movie!!!

Amelie is also one of my favourites, it's an amazing film with the best soundtrack I've come across. Forrest Gump, The Matrix and Shooting Fish and Fight Club are my other favourites although I couldn't say which is the best.

I just saw the Matrix Reloaded yesterday. I went with four friends, and we all brought our spoons. We waved them when the spoon made a comeback...

Keanu Reeves' acting skills got so annoyingly...well...nonexistent...that I just spent the majority of the movie watching his ass. It was, I admit worth the seven bucks.

Keanu Reeves didn't have a chance to exhibit many acting skills with all the action taking place . . . (Nashville was a sneak peak city, so I saw it at 10:00 on Wed.)

My daughter is a Digital FX artist on that film. The rest of my family didn't like it. She did and I feel the FX are excellent.
