I realised recently that an astounding thing will happen in the next two months. Depending on what date foormat you use, on either the 4th of May or the 5th of april, at two minutes and three seconds past one, the time and date will read: 01:02:03 04:05:06. So I thought I would point this out, and we could make this thread a kind of countdown to this mind boggling and once in a millenium event!! Who is with me?!?!?

I don't know how you traditionally celebrate, I think we've lost the records of the last one, but I plan to feast, dance and wear a silly hat, or maybe do some laundry. I havn't decided yet.

I think the tradition was to do a naked dance followed by much drinking of beer...or maybe it was to do laundry...I am still trying to translate the scrolls.

That's funny, Sam, because i think of that often. The whole date/month/year thing. Did anyone catch the episode of Criminal Minds where the Obsessive Compulsive lady would light something on fire whenever there was a sequence of three 3's? (Third class of the day, third day of the week, third week of the month and she lights the class on fire?)

It's TOMORROW. It was on the 2nd page of my newspaper today too.

Unfortunately they seem to have made a slight miscalculation - it will be 12 hours from the time they listed til it happens again… not 100 years! LOL

They would be referring to 24 hour time, I guess (ie in 12 hours it would be 13:02:03 04/05/06). I'm not too concerned about this date because American date stamps are backwards anyway... I'm still waiting for the 4th of May to break out the party poppers.

Me too ! That's my wedding anniversary ! It's also the anniversary of the Kent State Shootings...but we won't discuss that. Let's also not discuss the fact that on every May 4th my husband says " Happy Whatever Anniversary of The K.S.S. honey....oh yeah....Happy Anniversary.." I'm so pleased he equates our marriage with death
