Please post any bugs (program errors) that you've found on the site so that I might stomp on them. Please include enough information to reproduce the bug.
I don't know how many people have experienced this problem, but when I click on the World Gallery, I get runtime errors in lines 76, 176, and 212. All of them say "expected ')'"
that thing that happens with the appostrophes when you edit a post is quite annoying.... also you loose all formating and have to use html [ br ]s to fix it.
Also... sometimes I don't get a subscription notification when there is an update on some of my subscriptions...
Oh and I can't process some of my personal messages... it's just one actually... but no matter how many times I click on it and do "process checked" it won't go away.
See all the problems with this crummy site?? =P All of these are major problems!! hehehe ;-)
It's not actually a page . . . it's a debug message kinda like a java script error . . . it asks me if i would like to debug. If it doesn't happen to anyone else, I can live with it; I don't go into the world gallery very often anyway.
I have the same problem that the second of Beowulf: sometimes I don't get a subscription notification when there is an update on some of my subscriptions...
Without it, no problem.
I haven't noiced this problem. When anyone gets this problem, please notify me and tell me the page that the subscription failed for. That'll really help me debug it easier.
Here is an example:
I sent a message to CrazyIvan on his profiles the 4/19/03 9:28 AM
He answered me the 4/19/03 3:26 PM
I didn't receive a warning, yet I am written down well
This is another odd issue which may single me out: When I go to my subscriptions and click "process checked," it sends me to a page that it says is unavailable. It actually performs the action intended, but i have to use the back button on the browser to get back to the main page.
I really need to know *exactly* what the page said. Otherwise I can't tell if it's a cgi error or it just gave you a bad url or something. Thanks a lot.
I'm waiting on a subscription notification so I can tell you exactly what the page says . . . but since I posted that comment, I haven't received any. =P
I just noticed something interesting, I left a comment on one of Beowulf's photos, and it attached the comment to both the one I wanted to comment on, and another. When I edited the message that showed up on the second, both disappeared. After a while, it came back, but as the edited message on both. Needless to say, I'm all confused now. :-D
I think that has to do with the caching system. Apparently those two photos use the same cache file because the algoryth that I use to pick the filename isn't as good as I thought it was. That's a most worthy bug for which you are awarded one cookie/pastry of honor. Feel free to go to the store and get one =)
Well.... I was suscribed to both photos I did receive a subscription notification for either of them. That is... "Barn Window =P" and "Inviting Bench" to be precise.
Here's another small little thing I just noticed.... on my newest image "Naturally Decorated Tree" I orginally had it named "Naturally Decorated Bark" but then changed the 'bark' to 'tree' while it changed the name on the thumbnail picture in the user gallery has not changed and is still named "Naturally Decorated Bark".... very minor yet a bug nonetheless
This is exactly what the page says when I check my subscriptions (sorry for the length)

Yeah I just noticed that. I didn't have the problem when I tried to post there. Could you view the source of that page and email it to me? That would really help out a lot.
Also, what page did you come from when you viewed the page?
I tried to send a commentary to the picture 'Train' of Sikandar and I still receive:
"Search pattern not terminated at (eval 7) line 1."
I worked with Opera. The URL was: http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Caedes::Infopage?=sikandar-1052236428.jpg
Can you make something?
oh i just remembered. from time to time, not regularly but fairly often, i will get a note that i have Subscription messages, but when I click on the subscription link on the homepage it just reloads the homepage, sans the note. it could have to do with my browser (Safari for MacOS X)
Hi. For about a week now if I log out, it takes me several password resets to finally get in. Is there a time frame I should wait before I try to log on after I've been given a new password? Thanks
