Go for a drive, count my blesssings, think about what I shoudl be working on that I am ignoring, call someone and talk.

Well tomorrow I will have about 6 hours of boredom while I get an IV of iron....and I have been going nuts trying to figure out what to do with that time of just sitting there...

SO... I borrowed my mom's laptop, and using a jump drive, I have about 10 or so assorted ebooks to read. I have my husbands MP3 player so I'll be chilling to some classic rock with some country thrown in for a little flavor, and if those don't work, I installed a very addictive game called Slingo onto my mom's laptop. But I do plan to bring my "silky" (my blankie) and a pillow, so if all else fails, I'll just crash for a while!

Normally I don't get bored because I stay so active doing crap, that I don't have a chance to get bored.

My best friend and I used to take long drives...just get in the car, point it in a direction, and see where we ended up. We'd pack a picnic of fruits, cheeses, bread and wine, and when we found a place that "called out" to us, we'd stop the car...then we'd just talk for hours, sometimes getting nostalgic, sometimes just shooting the breeze...but it was always fun.

'K, in no particular order:

i) Rearrange my music collection. This time, by colour palette present on artwork, not alphabetically. :P
ii) Re-rearrange my music collection alphabetically.
iii) Rework some flames in Apophysis, start to render to disk and then howl at the times estimated. Always, always ... good for a laugh.
iv) Declare war on some autocratic country, write email to dictator and be assertive in wording.
v) Offer to rearrange said dictators' music collection, alphabetically or by colour palette present on artwork ... if he gives up nicely and goes away.

Those drives with wine, cheese and bread sound nice! You are getting very creative. E books are fun as well as audio tapes when you are too tired to look at the words.
