The voting gizmo on the photo's info page is just there to provide a bunch of liquored-up Tennessee boys with a comedy outlet

There was a time when the only voting done was done via this device .. but, with the vote system change back in september, this avenue of conveying input to the artist fell into disrepair ... theoretically it is still being 'tracked' .. but it is not factored in at this time

Possibly, someday, we will see a 'random vote' c-index and a 'popular vote' c-index on our "caedes control" screens ... but that will just lead to controversy as people try to compare the two

Keifer - you are my hero for saying what I was thinking but did not know how to put it in words [silly blonde complex ..LOL]. Why the heck nobody put my 'dancing ducks' in the voting booth yet ?! I am asking politely but when I lose my temper the fun will end !!!

K, now I'm confused- does the selective voting option (the one one the image's page) work anymore?

Only *caedes can answer that correctly .. my understanding of the matter is that the info is being 'tracked' but not used ... using it will 'weaken' the desired 'unbiased' opinions of random voting .. since the image would be rated higher by the "friends+family" effect. .. I'd be willing to bet the random vote would be vastly different from the popular vote on alot of images


As for your image above .. I would guess it got dropped from the database accidently and, therefore, is not scheduled for voting at all (based on the age) .. send a PM to *caedes and ask if he could verify that .. or .. consider deleting it and reposting
