Hello:

I just joined the group and am very excited. I plan to take a tutorial on fractal art and see where that takes me. I just have one technical question for now, though, and that is, I can't seem to download once I became a member. When I save, the system wants to save it as .gif instead of .jpeg, and then I get a blank picture. I also get no enlargement when I click on (800x600). Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

Hi Emil, Welcome to Caedes

Perhaps if you described your process .. for example .. You click the large preview image, wait for it to download in the new window, and then right-click on the image and choose SAVE AS .. (or whatever your browser says)

Well ... wouldn't you know it? I went back to see what exactly I might be doing so I could explain it to you, and all of a sudden everything was working correctly. I do have Norton Firewall, but it hadn't posed a problem for the week plust that I've been downloading without becoming a member.

Seems that whatever I was doing, or failing to do, solved itself. Thank you very much. And, oh, thanks for the Welcome Mat. I appreciate it.

I had that problem once for some strange reason. Haven't had it for a long time though.
