i think everyone can relate to this we all want stardome fame and fortume but we all cant have it; is it really worth it like the fame and fortume like look what happend to the spice girls and backstreet boys like we all liked them at one point but then everthig went KABOOM!! Like i said is it really worth it?? i am not saying that all superstars end off that way most band groups do go solo and end up being famouse there like look what happend to justin temberlake he hit the jack pot; at least that is what most are saying!!

And i mean these stars would do almost anything just to get into the press and attention look what happend to justin and Janet on the superbowl he litterally ripped of janets shirt!!

But hey i guess we all go a little extreem somtimes................

Exactly! I think that celebrities have a tough job, and they should have a break. But I don't agree that we all want it; I know some people do but that is a stereotype. I know some people who don't need fame or fortune.

I saw a program on Colin Farrel (sp?) the other day. Everywhere he went there were stupid paparazzi waiting, calling "Colin! Colin" like they were personal freinds or something, shoving 30 cameras in his face etc. I would put up with that for about 15 minutes before I hit one of them, which of course would just make everything 10 times worse.

I'll take the fortune, but you can keep the fame, thanks very much.

And in a late-breaking news flash, Samatar has been seen beating a helpless camaraman. Oh the shame. The world is going to end...

I wouldn't mind having some extra cash...but there is more to life than money. I heard once that if you can fix a problem with money, then it isn't a problem. Also, I saw an episode on Dateline or 20/20 or something like that where they interviewed 6 or 7 people that had won big bucks on the lottery. Every single one of them said that their marriages, their relationships with their friends and family...had gone down the tubes. They weren't friends with their best friends anymore, they had gotten divorces, they were estranged from their families...it was amazing...and very sad.

Hey, I have a solution to that problem. They could all give that money away to a worthy cause, say, the Save Samatar's Brand New Jaguar XKR Fund...

lol...I know! It's still sad though...you can keep the fame and even the fortune...I am perfectly happy being moderately comfortable...not extravagantly so. It's the little things in life that matter...not the material ones...

It is true that many times people who come into the forturne of an amassed amount of money lead infortunate lives. It still dumbfounds me the number of people that do stupid stuff ( ie reality tv shows ) for a quantity of money that only lasts as long as you have it.
I'd donate to the "save samatar's brand new Jaguar XKR fund" If i got a ride in it. :-)
Unfortunately I only have enough money to live on cocoa puffs this week.

The unfortunate thing about human nature is it seems no matter how much we have, we always want more. In fact it seems the more you have, the more you want. Almost without exception, anyone who is a self made millionaire seems to put most of their money into making more; it becomes an end unto itself, rather than a means to an end, which is what it probably should be. Some of these people literally have more money than they know what to do with, like Michael Jackson; I heard some time ago that he spent several million on a solid gold toilet. How stupid is that?

exactley, Like at least if your going to have the money use it wisley; every day thousands of stars spend their money on pointless things that most people would not even bother to spend on even if they did have the money. I know if i was famous and i had alot of money i would spend it on helping the poor to get a food and clothes also helping the sick kids foundation.

All of this is said from a standpoint of people who have never had large amounts of money. All is good on paper until you acquire it. Money drives a person mad. It causes even the nicest people like one of my friends to metamorph into a lunatic.

Fame every one wants to see you fail !
Fortune every one wants to know you and spend it.
Musicians get paid OK. but actors get paid to much for just pretending.
I would love to have a job where I work six months and get paid 20 mil.

No matter how rich and famous you are if you are wise, you remember your roots and how you could end up back there anytime. Fans are fickle!!! Fame and fortune can be fleeting. That's why you can't base your life upon those kinds of things. Excuse me now, while I hope into my baby Jag and go out for some sushi and cocktails. ( haha)

Up at the top there, apolo says "we all want stardom fame and fortune" but do we? Enough money to get by on, sure, but stardom and fame? Recognition, maybe - you guys appreciating my uploads is great - but stardom? Millions of people picking over my work, paparazzi and critics, gossip and scandal, agents and hangers-on and gold-diggers? Nah, not for me. Love and friendship. Appreciation and respect. Enough to eat and warm, dry feet - keep the rest of it.
