Seriously though, it does provide invaluable feedback to someone like myself who's started out with digital photography. Though most of the time when i check the LCD i'm looking at the histogram, rather than the picture itself.
I was just reading about chimping in a magazine. Interesting how it started. Since I staretd shooting on an SLR, I am always amazed at how good the images look in the viewfinder, but they often don't turn out quite so well on the little screen. I chimp quite a bit before and after the action, but generally not during.
