Careful use of the clone stamp tool, Vereena. Just pick a spot close to the wire and press ALT-click with your mouse. Then use it like a brush to paint away the wire. It works best with a smooth edged brush.
I use the rectangular marquee tol also, if the area behind it is a single color (eg sky). Just draw a long thin box and use "New layer via copy". Then drag the new layer over the wire to hide it.
Ok I'll try, but this is a photo of some peacocks behind a wire fence, little squares of it, will that still work? You actually mean the other stuff in the picture will stay and the lines are gone? wow..
The thing is I got the clone brush and I tried this, but the lines that I am doing show up, and how do I make it all look like the rest of the scene? Is there something else I do after I use the brush to 'paint' away the wire? Or how will it look like the rest of the photo?
You can only use what you already have in the photo. There's no way to make what is hidden behind the wire reappear. The cloning tool can only be used for fairly minor restoration unless you are an expert.
Ok Sam thanx...then I guess I just will have to leave the little fence lines....its ok. I guess it's reality eh?! thanx to all of you for trying to help tho..
