Judging by the PM he sent me he's not interested in comments unless it's

"oooh wow" ...

He believes his photo sucks cuz he got a negative comment and the c-index is 10 of 100. I don't, i find the complexity of it makes it more interesting, though i do somewhat agree with you, that it's not best for some people to have as a desktop background, but some may like it... Take a look at the other image he posted, i find that it is less complex and would do well as a desktop background.

Okay, I commented on both. And he posted a not so hot image ? Everyone does from time to time. It's how you learn. People on this site are very giving of their knowledge & their talents, very sharing in fact. All he has to do is open his mind to all he can learn & make like a sponge.....just soak as much as he can in, without pushing anyone's buttons.

He made it clear to me that he is not open to constructive advice\criticism .. and all I was trying to do was to point out why the image failed to get any comments or attention, it doesn't appeal to most as a desktop image ... I believe that I am through with him and I told him as much

Nothing I said was meant to INSULT him .. but yet that's all he got from it

I didn't comment because he asked me not to... i'm telling him what i think of them in messenger. I like them, anyway. He's my boyfriend.

Interesting view, but not a great desktop image in my opinion. It looks like scrap metal even if you know what it is, and it's not entirely artistic.

Just my opinion. And I'd rather not make enemies so I didn't post that.
