When you enter a key phrase in the "search" how does it look for the matches and why is that list so small?

With the large volume of images now posted here, visitors have so much to go through, it may be hard to find what they are looking for.

Example:
I have noticed that one of the searches that comes up most often is ROSE. I know we have a ton of photos with roses (although not all of them have the word in the title or in the text - those I understand not coming up) but I have several photos with rose in the title that don't even come up.

This may be a feature that we want to make more user friendly to insure the new users to the site are seeing what *wonderful* things that are posted on this site - not to mention that it is really hard to find an image here if you can't remember who it was by and you forgot to put it in your favorites :-)

Results from the search are ordered by the number of times the search term is found in the item. The search limits the returned results to something like 50. That is so that searches which match many items do not bog down the server needlessly. I just searched for roses and I got quite a few results.
