We have a lightbulb over one stairwell and under another. The bulb goes out and mum pesters me to get a ladder and change it until my little brother goes up or down the stairs above it. As soon as he does, everything is dandy.
The funny part is that, before company was coming over, mum actually stomped on the floor above it to make it go on, which it did.
