Who's gonna win???

Personally I think LotR: RotK will win best picture, best director, best original score, best original song, best makeup, best costume design, and best sound. who's gonna beat it....seabiscuit? The only competition is Pirates of the Carribbean.

Definitely LotR:RotK will win most of the awards. For best acctress it's gotto be Charlize Theron in "Monster".

My money is on "Freddy VS Jason" to sweep the awards; or maybe "American Pie 3"...

The Return of the King had better win Best Picture and a lot of the other ones, too. The first two deserved the awards. I just hope they have the sense to give ROTK what it deserves. The only reason the first two didn't win anything is that the "Academy" doesn't go for fantasy, science fiction, and independent films (are they supposed to be out of the "Academy's" class?). All three deserve Best Director, Best Score, Best Special Effects, Best Supporting/Main Actor/Actress (that would be a tough call--all the actors in those movies were excellent beyond description), and all the others which I won't list because I can't remember them all.

Anyway, can you tell that I'm completely obsessed by The Lord of the Rings? Most people think it's weird, but I have a hard time understanding people who could care less or even the ones who like it but aren't as freaked about it as me, let alone all those idiots out there who think it's stupid. Are there lots of people who hate it or is it just my inanely superficial high school classmates who think that undermining human dignity is fun?

Can you tell that I'm the opinionated type?

Jessiac (and all others who this applies to) if you haven't seen Master and Commander yet, I highly suggest going and seeing it. It is a great movie!

I am not sure what will win as far as the best films. I do love to see everyone all dressed up though and listen to the acceptance speeches. These shows always go on far too long though

Kidding?!? Certainly not. That film is a classic of the silver screen, as were it's predecessors.

Every vote is accompanied by an explanation of how I voted, and why. This is in order to solve the problem of comments being TOO nice and not enough constructive criticism.
