Warning!!! Caedes may become addicting

It has been such a delight discovering Caedes, so much so, that I find it hard not to take a peek once in a while, but the whiles have become a fixation. There is so much talent here, and logging on is a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, regarding the comments, critiques, and the people I have met. I know this will irk some, but in the new age of personal blog sites, Caedes is a refreshing change, a virtual museum of artistry, rather than "What I did last night" etc. etc. It would be fun if you could add sounds or music to the images, but that would not be what Caedes is all about. Bravissimo from my seat.

Iona / Sandra : what a terrific idea!
I totally agree with you and feel the addiction strong for this site. It is unlike any other.
I have never met so many wonderful people of all ages, religions, races, etc-etc as I have here...and the talent and warmth that comes from here outshines them all.
Maybe we will never see music or sound with the images, but with many, the sounds are almost possible...and the scent of the flowers. Corny....{maybe} but this site cannot be topped. I am also very happy to say that Ms Sandra is a brilliant...super-intelligent and very talented young lady and a wonderful friend! :)

Please forgive me: I want to thank everyone who views and comments my images, I try but it is hard to write individual thank you at times. Please know you are appreciated!

Yeah, this site is addictive, I tried not logging onto caedes.net for a week, I ended up with the D.T.s.

You ended up with a brand new digital theater system? Not bad! I might try that out some day. :p Atm I'm too addicted to try though. I think I've logged on here almost every day for more then two years (barring maybe five or so). That is, since I first came here... :p

Seriously, it's very addictive to come here. All the great art, and all the great artists that come with it. ;) It's a great place to come to. The caedes withdrawal syndrom is a terribly thing though, maybe not as bad as delirium tremens, but close.

There should be a warning somewhere on the page. "May become addictive" flashing sign in the FAQs perhaps? ^_^ (And a crash course in how to maintain sanity if the site is down for a few hours...)

Yeah, me too. I haven't spent more than a daytime hour without coming here. =) Believe it or not, as asinine as it sounds, if I can't get to sleep, I walk to my laptop wrapped up in the bedclothes. Or I just keep my laptop by my bed with the wireless card in. I know, I know, it's insane, but it's true. =)

LOL! I know I'm a Caedes addict. It's pretty bad when I'm up by 5:15 every day for work, then on the weekends when I don't have to work I lie in bed in the morning and toss and turn thinking about this crazy site. Then I'm usually online by at least 6:30 am when I could be sleeping in. Pretty crazy, huh? Btw, Happy Anzac Day, and Happy Anniversary Jac!..;D
