Adjacent to the thumbnail after you open an image page, it says "Favorites" and then "add image," and "view." to add the image to your favorites folder, click on "add image." To view your gallery, click "view." Once the image has been added, when you open the image page again, you will have the option of removing the image from your favorites. Hope that makes sense. Wen
Thanks! Can you answer another question? How long after you upload a picture should you be able to find it? I had one that appeared briefly, but I haven't been able to find it since and I just put another one up yesterday and I can't find it either. Thanks for the help!
If you upload when a mod is online, it should appear in the New Images gallery within about ten minutes. You can see if a mod is online by clicking the Show Users Online toggle (on the left) and if you find anyone with a +before the username, there is a mod online. That's the best time to upload an image.
If a mod is not online when you upload, then the image will appear when a mod signs in and approves of it.
If you go to your profile page (click on your avatar or your screen-name) ... then click on the "paint palette" under your avatar to get to your gallery
go ahead and bookmark it while you are there
also ... <----- to the left you will see "caedes control" under your name .. click on that and you will see a list of all the votes and views for your images
That, and when you look under "New Images," directly under the thumbnails there's a square that allows you to sort "randomly," by "C-index" and "by date." If you choose "by date," the images show up in chronological order so that newly uploaded images should show up on the first couple of pages. If it's set to sort "randomly," your image may very well get lost in many pages of images. Wen
If there isnt a mod online.. it could take a verrrrrrrry long time until someone comes on.. because of the time difference where I am.. sometimes it can take an hour or 2... which gives you time to have a look at all the great new images while you wait.. =D
Doesnt worry me with the delay... I'm always doing something else while im waiting thats if I have to wait to fix up something i stuffed up in the description.. lol
