you cant i'm afraid :-) you can only edit your own - if however you have a comment posted that you find offensive you can use the complain feature to bring it to the attention of one the Praetors or Consuls.

actually .. the ability to edit a comment is a heaven sent blessing ... if numbers are tracked on how often a comment is edited then I alone have caused them to add another digit to that column .. as I'm constantly massaging the data

you can't edit comments at DeviantArt ..

I like to have a record of what has gone on. Sometimes someone says something and then later retracts it, however by then the discussion has already moved on and without the retracted comment it can be confusing to follow the line of discourse. This is why my next version will keep track of all past versions of a comment if it is edited. I think this will make people choose their words more carefully.

Actually, I've double posted by accident before. I just informed one of the mods and they removed the 2nd one for me.

I have a habit of typing way too fast and making mistakes, and I have correct-spelling-and-grammar-OCD, so I edit almost all posts. I'd better be more careful now, though..

Me too! I actually was going to edit the one I just posted - wanted to change "mistakes" to "typos". Better go through the post before posting.

LOL! I've been known to edit comments almost immediately sometimes, after catching a typo, or...lol, calling somebody by the wrong name...oops!!..=P
