I use Paint Shop Pro and when I open it to add any other colour to any picture, especially my Liquefy ones, I open the "Flood fill tool" ...but something happened a few days ago and suddenly the chart with the colours to choose from is not there. And the 'icons' that show up before the photo loads fully has changed. I imagine these things are related somehow. I dont know how to get the colours back and how to change those little icons. I am not sure if I am explaining this right, but I am not able to use a colour chart to add "paint" to any of my pictures or liquefy. In other words, my Tool pallette is gone from my PSP window. Can anyone help me?
I don't use PSP .. so I can not offer specific help .. but .. the first link up there offers basic tips on all tools in your arsenal (color is first .. flood fill is halfway down the list)
and somebody who has the program will be along shortly .. (*crosses fingers*)
Oh sure sure, somebody will be along....that only comes with if somebody knows or cares bout this topic..lol...they all think I am not so smart and I think they think I'm kiddin around by being so ignorant..hehe...but oh well, I guess being a blonde says it all eh? I will check these things you were so nice enough to post...thankies a bunch!!
EAch of my photos now has the letters DSCN on the little blue icon before I double click and bring the photo up. Does anyone know what I need to do pleeeeeeeeezzzee?????? Well, maybe no one ELSE is smart enough either eh? Ok, everyone who is blonde, raise their hands!!!
This may sound stupid but try rebooting your PC. I would recommend a cold boot. Shut it downf or about 20 seconds and restart. Sometimes strange things happen and get all better.
It's ALL the photos I ever took, not just my digitals. As far as rebooting? I have done that, and it hasn't helped. Isn't there anyone out there that knows a simple answer? I bet anything it is some little tiny thing. I know I hit some key accidently and what happened was is that I was in the middle of working with a photo and the window changed, and I didnt know how to even get out of it, so I had to cold shut off the pc...and when I came back, thats what happened....no more colour pallette...:(
To display the toolbars, choose View > Toolbars from the menu. In the Toolbars dialog box, select Color Palette, Status Bar, Tool Bar, and Tool Palette. Your screen should now look similar to the one shown here.
does doing this help? ... remember that most programs have keyboard shortcuts .. so .. chances are you hit a keyboard shortcut to turn off the color palette

I'm happy that you don't use the Control Key .. that is your right .. you go girl !! .. but a lone "C" key is very easy to hit accidentally ... and I told you how to turn on your workspace tools via the view menu
take a pie-in-the-face for the group .. and try these out .. the life you save may be my own
