Can I borrow a fractal?

I want to mess around a bit more with Nathan's (NMSmith's) "Jewel" method, but I am no good at manufacturing fractals... would any members be willing to give me free reign to mess about with theirs?

Thanks guys. I'm not even exactly sure what type of fractal will work best with this type of manipulation yet, but I'll let you know how I go.

Looks great ..

I don't usually share my tricks because the accoustics are so good around here that I can hear the other photoshop-a-saurians .. laughing .. probably just the wind

try this .. create a new layer above .. flood fill a color .. (i use BBC2BB = DevArt Green) .. set opacity to 50 for now .. and blend mode to "Color Burn"

this has the effect of saturation .. and is adjustable via opacity or a couple other blend modes .. you can do it for the final touch on the "whole" .. or .. selective masks for particular objects

yeah .. I know .. you can do the same thing via other, more politically correct, methods .. but you don't inspire books to be written about you by doing things "other peoples" ways

Listen .. can you hear them laughing? .. oh wait, that's you
