Every vote is accompanied by an explanation of how I voted, and why. This is in order to solve the problem of comments being TOO nice and not enough constructive criticism.

Construction is expected to start in about 9 months; this thing will be a mile long and house 100,000 people at a time...

They'd need a new word - 'ship' seems too small

I somewhat doubt that it will actually be made. There doesn't seem to be a reasonable usage for such a ship. But cricitism aside, that looks like it would be awesome to go on. It would feel like your not actually on the ocean probably but just in another city.

I found it on a site www.gizmo.com.au, there is heaps of whacky stuff there. Check out the one wheeled motorbike prototype! I found this site while looking for which new camera I should buy...

It seems to me that if any heavy wind came by it would either shatter the windows or flip it on its side. Still cool though.

I have seen hell. Not of demons fire and brimstone but in the immorality of the dwellers of twisted cement and steel.

If you read more about it they say it will be more like a barge than a ship; it will travel the globe once every three years, following the coast to avoid rough seas and spending much time anchored at major cities. I assume they are hoping to raise enough capital from sales of apartments and commercial space to fund the construction.
