"Beginning in the early 14th-century, the popularity of the 7 deadly sins with artists of the time engrained them in human culture around the world.

Now it's time to transfer the Seven Deadly Sins into modern times. Which style you use is up to you - the only requirement is that it MUST be recognizable as a photograph. For more details about the 7 Deadly Sins please visit Wikipedia.

To enter this competition we want you to pick one Deadly Sin and express it through a photograph.

The Rules:

☻ All entries must be new and uploaded to your deviantART account.
☻ Please submit your entries in the "7 Deadly Sins" contest category.
☻ Only 1 entry and 1 sin per person allowed.
☻ Contest ends at June 7th 2006 - 8pm PST.
☻ Photoshop/darkroom editing allowed.
☻ The winners will be announced latest June 12th.

It sounds like a cool contest, however I'm rather suprised at the cheap prizes. They are almost as cheap as the ones we give away! You'd think they could afford to give away laptops or free prints or something.

I like prizes that are delivered by truck .. "careful, don't mar the paint going thruogh the doorway"

"Cheap" as in it doesn't cost the baker $1 to give away $1 of bread.

I have a great idea for the "Sloth" category! But I can't be bothered...

I like that idea , laptops or free shirts. Oh thats right I tried the shirt thing. That only leaves laptops right Geri? When is our next contest?
