Is there a way to convert a larger image to a smaller image without having to take the picture again? Is there a button, do I have to save it to a different size? If so, how?

Ephesians 2: 8 & 9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Why did Jesus have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven? And if you had to earn salvation it wouldn't be a gift, it would be a wage. And if you had to be good enough to get saved then how do you know when your there? Questions about Jesus? Send me a personal message.

There sure is. It's usually found as a "Resize" function somewhere in your program.

What software are you using? We can help you out better w/that important info 8•)

Thanks ya'll. I am using a Digital DV Camera. I tried different resolutions to see if I could get a better image (i didn't know what they were at the time.) I captured some really great photos but there either too small or too big. I just download the pics to my computer and then try to put them on caedes.... didn't work.

"4)...method of payment? (cookies is preferred)" whatever that is. Anyway... the dimensions I first tried were 640x480 (too small). 2nd dimensions 2304x1728 (too big). After that I wasn't up for going outside and trying it again. Operation system: Windows XP. Software? None. I just downolad them from my DV Camera onto the computer. Then I save them to a folder then upload them to the website. Im planning on trying the irfanviewer thingy you said.

I have Irfanview, but I never use it. I just resize with Microsoft Photo Editor that comes with XP.

Directions for Photo Editor -
Open the image
Click on Image in the top menu
Click on Resize
Select Pixels from the Units drop-down menu
Type in Height = 1600, Width = 1200, and click on OK and you're done.

In order to NOT scrunch your image it is best not to force it into a set dimension unless it's only a small amount ... that's why it's best to enable

[x] maintain aspect ratio

and enter one dimension, like, 1600 width .. and see where the height comes in at. ... if it hits 1200 that's good .. but if it doesn't you can decide to crop or deal with it in other ways

but your image is the proper size to hit 1600x1200 .. so use Irfanview or MS photo editor

and .. if you can make brownies .. we'll accept them instead
