All i know is that when i switched to Hyper mode i loved it. When you're cruising through the New Images gallery, and you stop and comment on an image, you don't lose your place on the page you were on. With normal mode, you would click on New Images it would take you back to square one.

when you view a page full of thumbnails and they are all done loading the site starts downloading the next page aswell so when you hit next they have already started, and if you looked at the first page long enough the second page could acctually be done loading and appear instantly. So it is just a little bit faster.
Of course i could be wrong since its not my site, but that is my understanding.

No one wanted to pay to say something in my sig, so i will have to try and think of something creative now...
My hyper page works well. I have problems with the normal page not working. I was getting all the thumbnails on a page. Over the last few weeks I get fewer and fewer thumbnails showing on each page.. Today I only have blank thumbnails but the hyper mode works well. What is happening/

I found the problem. For some reason with foxilla I can't see the thumbnails but with IE it is good.

I have had the best and fastest use of hyper mode by using Opera browser. I haven't ever had to wait for a thumbnail to appear (I do 12 at a time) or for a page to load. Thanks Caedes, it really is a lot better than the normal mode.
