Apple Updates Break CS2 Installer

Mac users who've installed Apple's most recent QuickTime and Security Updates need to be very careful about then installing Adobe Creative Suite 2. Due to changes in the two updates, The Creative Suite 2 installer will leave your Mac unbootable if you've installed the two updates. Fortunately, there is a simple workaround.

OS X 10.4.6 Photoshop bug

If you've recently upgraded to Mac OS X 10.4.6, and you regularly use Photoshop files with alpha channels, then you may already have discovered a problems when trying to use some of your PSDs inside Apple's Preview, iPhoto or Aperture. Unfortunately, the 10.4.6 upgrade introduced a bug that can affect Photoshop files that include extra alpha channels - which can mean any document in which you've used Photoshop's Save Selection command.

I found that word combination .. "MAC Unbootable" .. fascinating ...

I don't think anybody has snuck that past the apple censors
