For the first time in DA history, we are conducting a fractal contest. To end spring and herald in a new summer, the theme of this contest is to create a fractal image that portrays all the aspects of summer. Interpretation of the summer theme is up to each artist, whether they want to make a flower, a beautiful rainbow, a butterfly, or whatever comes to mind that is about the summer season. Open your fractal generators, study your formulas, and think summer.
RULES ► Submissions must be original artwork and only one image per artist. When you have your image completed, please submit your piece to the contest gallery: submit-> deviation-> contests-> One Fractal Summer Contest
► Images can be made using any fractal program and must adhere to the theme of the contest.
► Post processing using an image editing program such as Photoshop, or Paint Shop Pro is allowed as long as the focus of the image is a fractal.
► There is no size restriction on the entry images.
PRIZES ► First place: TomWilcox has graciously donated a 20x30 inch canvas print of his. Along with the print (shown below, held by Tom himself), Tom is going to sign a Certificate of Authenticity for this print. Both will be mailed to the first place winner.
