Ok, I am new, I've been checking the site out for the last 3-4 months, just got back from vacation and would like to post two pictures to get help/suggestions how to make them better....However, I've been trying to upload them for the past two days without success. It keeps telling me that the dimensions are wrong, too big or too small. I've resized everything from 1600x1064 to 800x 532 and in between with no love (for some reason I can't get it an even 1600 x 1200 like in the FAQs), I've looked and perhaps it's just the frustration kicking in... Would someone please helpl???? Thanks :)

Take a look at those two links, but as a quick note directed right at your problem your picture is at a different ratio then what the site likes, so you are going to have to pick between two evils. Add a border on the top or bottem, or chop some of the picture off making it the right raito.

You probably have "Constrain proportions" turned on by the sounds of things. That means your X and Y dimensions will always be reduced by the same percentages. If you want to change one dimension by a different percentage then you need to turn it off. If that doesn't make sense to you check the aforementioned tutorials, I have one in my gallery on resizing also.
