Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, body
thoroughly used up and totally worn out, screaming "WOO HOO - What a Ride!"
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.

Huh, speaking of time, I heard the Italian government is thinking of putting a clock in the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I guess they figure what good is it if you have the inclination, but you don't have the time ?
This is neither spontaneous nor absurd but didn't know where else to put it...At the time 12:34 and 56 seconds today (07/08/09) it will be...123456789.
cool eh? This is a once in a century occurrence.
I got this bit of info from Q107, a Toronto radio station.
/\ Have to disagree on the supposition of the time/date thingy being that of 'spontaneously absurd'.
In my mind, this is ... 'orderly absurdity'.
But, hey ... it's not often that one gets to point out how much some people are missing out on ... ahem ... every day, by not having programmed their respective and relevant electronics.
So ...
Go forth to your friends, family and acquaintance's homes ... point to the digital clock displays of their electronics that they never got around to setting ... and snicker bemusedly.
I will ... next time, for sure.
(*sets stop watch to countdown .. ... ... a century worth's of time ... from the notable day ...*)

(*goes off to store to stock up on watch battery cells ... brings coupons ...*)

Awww, Els... come back... we love you. Hold your head high even though your fingers sometimes trip over the computer keys. ;-))
although... a 'growling crowd' sounds like a splendid definition. Especially since we in the US seem to be subjected to more and more growds of politically bent out of shape type peoples....
Whoa... quite the coincidence here. My friend Christine, on the very same day, misplaced her car keys and then found them taking advantage of the keyhole to her library... thus raising the question: Who did what to whom in the library? or was it the attic...? or, wait, the cellar...?
only trouble with Les reading the bottom of his tea cup is, he keeps upending the cup to see what's written on the real bottom and all the tea pours out in his lap. Ouch!

hmmm, Tim is just figuring it out about the dots... I wonder what else he's missed by throwing himself about and running really fast without going anywhere?

There are few situations in life that cannot be honourably settled, and without any loss of time, either by suicide, a bag of gold, or by thrusting a despised antagonist over the edge of a precipice on a dark night.
