Most of the people who have seen "Home Sweet Home" in the flesh (so-to-speak) have taken an instant liking to it, saying it's an unusual perspective and quite unique. I'm wondering if the c-index rating of 38 is because caedes viewers can't figure out what it is?
I'm not sure what posting a link would do. It's on the Caedes site, titled "Home Sweet Home" by Expro. When I'm wanting to see a specific shot I just do a wallpaper search and, checking through a few other comment requests, I didn't see a link posted on any of them. I'm not a novice to the web but I'm not sure about posting a link to a site within the site itself. ???
I believe that if I would have been voting that the photo would have gotten a relatively average score, say a 6 or 7. The composition is very good and the angle is fun but the subject matter is droll to the average person. Now here is where the voting system is flawed.
Some times a photo NEEDS an explaination or at least a title to be shown with it. I've voted on several photos that if I had known the title I'd have given it a point or two more in my vote. So me, I wouldn't take it personally (I have a photo with a c-index of 8... and that's my favorite photo, heh) and just remember that the people that have liked it are the ones commenting on it and not always the ones voting on it.

Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain
