Permanent Galleries Question

I just read the "Perm Galleries Notification" thread by Nigel and Caedes replied that he'd need to think about notifying on images being moved by someone other than the author. I thought that images in the permanent galleries were moved by a member of the Caedes team/board/assembly and not by the author themselves.

I simply do not understand how this works.

:::cries:::

Thanks,

Twig

The ImageMods (Consuls and Caedes also? not sure) do move them into the perms or archive them, but at anytime the authors can move them into a different gallery like the Abstract=>Fractal, Photography=>Landscape, Tutorials, etc. galleries. The authors just can't move them into the perms or archive them - if that happened every image would go into the perms =)

Oh okay! Right right ... I understand now. They were talking about moving images around in the 'new images' portion of the galleries.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your help. I'll stop crying now! :)
