Just had an idea for another time wasting game. I will ask a single trivia type question and the first person to answer it correctly gets to ask the next one.
Double check the answer to your question first unless you are 100% certain of it! However you are NOT allowed to look up the answer to someone elses question (unless you aren't participating). If you aren't sure have a guess anyway, you might give us a laugh :-)
OK here's the starter: The author of childrens book "Chitty Chiity Bang Bang" is also famous for creating which other fictional character?
"Let us forever cherish and hold sacred these moments...for it is our undoing ...should we forget..." -William Shakespeare ... Visit Jhihmoac's Gallery
Apollo was one of the Greek gods of the sun, the other was Helios....I know that for a fact. The only other one I can think of is Selene, but that's a Goddess....
So ? Animal, vegetable, or mineral ? Whoops...wrong thread...mybad
Well, the answer I was given at the quiz I went to was Apollo, but when I looked it up I couldn't find anything that supports this. Jhimoac or Lauren can take it though, Selene was probably the best guess...

Einstein...but that would make him too young no? so its not him
Nott...but he wasnt alive in the 1800's
Dexter...but thats a cartoon (speaking of dexter, he doesnt have a last name!? I never noticed that)
didnt edison who was for DC power transmission compete against *YOUR* guy who wanteed AC power transmission..i know it, but i dont know it. In the end the AC dude one i think. Is that good enough for an answer? =)
You do not have to thank me if I leave a comment on your image...unless you really want to. ...this is a new thing to save time. =) All my thanks are becoming, "Thank you for the comments." over and over...so for a change, i'll thank every 5 or so times..or just a random choosing.
I think I know the sitcom...Boy meets world...but alas...I don't know the character name..he was one of the teachers. On St. Elsewhere he was Dr.Greg/Dr.Craig...not sure which :(
Technically Noah ... technically, not perceptually.
For another example ... if you were to view my posts on here on the site ... in reality all I ever say is something like "oh, I agree, lol" ... or ... "hahaha, that's funny" ... but at a certain time of year, my posts only look' wordy.' :oP
I dont think anybody will get this question (it's been a while)...so:
"Tonight's full Moon will be almost 12 percent bigger than some of the full Moons this year, according to
NASA, setting up a fine viewing opportunity when it rises in the evening.
The reason: The Moon is near perigee, the point on its slightly out-of-round orbit that is closest to Earth.
This Moon is called the Harvest Moon, owing to its timing of being nearest the autumnal equinox. Farmers in the past relied on it to harvest all night. The Harvest Moon is not always closer and bigger than normal."
Clue:
"In Dublin's fair city
Where the girls are so pretty
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone
As she wheeled her wheelbarrow
Through streets broad and narrow
Crying Cockles and Mussels Alive, Alive, OH"
