Hi everyone..

I was wondering if anyone could give me directions on how to resize some of my images for 1900 by 1200 for me to use as wallpaper. That is the size of my new monitor... And the new monitor is a Samsung 242MP ... Color is amazing on it..

The images here will get s--t--r--e--t--c--h--e--d if you resize a 1600x1200 to a 1900x1200. You could add a vertical border if you want to avoid the stretching.

If not, and if you have a Windows xp OS, try using Microsoft Photo Editor. Open the image, click on Image on the top menu, click on Resize in the menu, select Pixels, make sure the "Allow Distortion" checkbox IS checked, type in Width = 1900, Height 1200.

Or try IrfanView and open the image, click on Image, click on Resize/Resample, make sure the Preserve Aspect Ratio is NOT checked, and type in Width = 1900, Height = 1200.

Any more questions = ask

I would resize to 1900 wide and then crop a narrower height than the 1600x1200 offers ... if that is not acceptable to you I would just pad out the width with 150 pixels on each side ...

going forward, I would plan for it when you create the piece
