Volkswagen - trade off of a supposed quality platform but in reality their products are incredibly shabby compared to other brands within in the group and when something does go wrong - nobody wants to take responsibility for it, taking turns blaming each other whether it be the dealer, the importer or even the factory back in the father land. Total bunch of tossers. Damned ugly cars too.

Chevy Camaro... what an overrated car (newer models). I had nothing but problems with it and the front end was so low it scraped every speed bump. God forbid you had to park it on a driveway with a slight incline. It was a gas guzzler, the rear window seal kept melting in the sun... I hated that car in every way. Glad to be rid of it.

Rob - when your paying tens of thousands of pounds (or dollars) for a car, luck shouldnt be an issue - you should get some degree of customer satisfaction or am I deluding myself there?

Lithia (hyundai dealer). I bought a used hyundai with a limited warranty that supposedly had been thoroughly checked over. Within the first 6 months I'd replaced a transmission, O2 sensor, brakes, and something else that I now forget. After doing an investigation on my own, I discovered this car had a couple recalls that had not been handled, 4 tranny replacements, and 6 O2 sensor replacements--in a car that was less than 4 years old!!! When I contacted Lithia about all this and their (what I felt was) fraudulant car description/selling tactics, they gave me a huge run-around then threatened to sue me for defamation...for THEIR misrepresentation of my car. Anyway, the car now sits in my garage as I refused to make payment and asked that it be repossed (which they didn't do, since the car was a POS). NEVER buy a car from Lithia!! The same company screwed my mom over with her hyundai which she had bought new from them!!

I received the most apalling service from Laminex when I ordered my kitchen benchtops direct from them. I took months to get anything out of them and when they finally did arrive they had cut the sink holes out at the wrong size, despite me sending them the specifications (which they obviously did not refer to, so I don;t know why they required them). I had to send them back and wait again while they ummed and ahhed and had meetings about what to do. Finally they had to buy new sinks which would suit the holes they had cut and I insisted that they installed them for me. In the end I think it took over three months to get them in place... three months that I couldn't use my kitchen... and no apologies or explanations. I will never use their services again.
