There are MANY things that would make me happy, few of which I will willingly confess on a public forum ... I WILL say

1) .. Solving The World Hunger Issues
2) .. Fair and Equal Marriage laws for all
3) .. Free Medical Coverage for those that need it
4) .. The ability to drive a Lamborghini without having everyone assume it's an appendage extension

I agree wholeheartedly with yours, Keifer (although I would be happy with just the opportunity to drive a Lamborghini and wouldn't really care what everyone assumed ;-)

I think what would ultimately make me happy is if everyone stopped trying to force their ideals on other people. As long as what you are doing does not cause suffering to others then people shouldn't be trying to stop you from doing it... I think the world would be a much happier place, but we'll probably never know will we...

I would be happy if they didn't put my picture on my drivers license.

I would be happy if I never had to serve on jury duty and they let the unemployed do it.

All those are great answers, but I have to say that for me, to some extent, money would buy me happiness. I'd love to have bill collectors off my back, and for my kids to not have to wear mainly hand-me-downs, and to be able to fix my plumbing and roof and put in central air, to have a new new car instead of a new used car (and for it to actually work without having to be jump-started or doing a prayer before time), I'd like to teach my kids geography by actually taking them on trips to someplace other than downtown...I could go on and on...but truth is, I have been managing for too long on way too little that winning the lottery would buy me quite a bit of happiness...realistic happiness, but happiness nonetheless. I don't think I would know what to do though, if I was filth f**king rich like spoiled brat Paris Hilton. I just want enough money to make my bills disappear and make things a bit more comfortable for me and my family. A Saleen S7 would be really nice too...and a cop on my payroll so I could drive that baby fast and NOT get a million speeding tickets!! I would also be happy if the tv networks suddenly decided to make the Jenn Channel and play all my favorite (and cancelled) shows 24/7. It would also be awesome if the SPCA never ever had to euthanize another animal. And I'd love to see everyone go hydro-electric or bio-diesel. I would be especially giddy if I could actually go to a Fleetwood Mac or Eagles concert (long story, but even when I had tix, something would come up to make it so I couldn't go).

what would make me happy? hmmm. i wish brazil wasn't a $#%@#@! 10 hour flight away, so when i go to see my godson and go traveling, i dont spend a day just re-energizing.

well, where i usually go is a good 7-8 hour drive to the coast, but when i do get to go, beaches in brazil are amazing....the water by the beaches at rio are more of a teal color, and there are beaches an hour or two from there where you'll find 6 foot breakers, and then half a click away, due to rock formations, the water is as still as a lagoon.

i'm happy as long as those i love are happy - that's about all it takes for me.

1) If people didn't take themselves so seriously and try to convert the entire rest of the world to their standards and beliefs rather than just learning to appreciate the differences. 2) If i could eat all the junky/bad for you things I want w/OUT having the evidence show up on the scale

5) If people were able to have the things they need in life… you know… shelter that doesn't make ya claustrophobic and really friendly w/all manner of insect lifeforms, basic food, medical care, etc based on their need for such things rather than their ability to afford them.

Hmmm, what would make happy. 1. If I didn't have to clean my house. 2. If art wasn't high profile cool thing (I don't mean Caedes) 3. People being patient with one another and trying to learn about our differences. 4. If George Bush would stay on his ranch, play golf and take a vow of silence for 2 years (hey, or longer) and stop playing with an entire countries well being. 4. If physical and mental illness were none existent. 5. If I lived near the ocean. 6. If I could give everybody I love a safe place to live and have food water and clothes for them (in our city there is a lot of poverty). 7. If there were fast food (but healthy if possible) strictly vegetarian restaurants. 8. Last of all that people could learn to take care of themselves buy learning proper nutrition, have whole foods accessible to them (because here they are expensive and the poor eat 50 cent macaroni and cheese as a result), and teach people to value their health and environment. What we do to take care of our community and environment is also reflective of how we treat ourselves. Okay, I'm stepping off my soapbox ;)
