Just a thought... I've always been a panoramic type guy... and well... panoramic's have never really fared very well on portrait resolution monitors.... But with the advent of all these new displays ... I got a widescreen.. and I'd like to present more stuff on here, but it's mostly panoramic and it's been deterring me... If y'all could band together and try to get a widescreen resolution available for uploading that would be just fantastic :-D

Try doing a discussion board search for "widescreen" - there are a lot of similar threads on this topic. I think it was mentioned that major software changes would have to be made for widescreen wallpapers (without the borders)

Change takes place on a glacial time frame, as you may know ..

Nathan has been offering widescreen versions of his works at his deviantart gallery ... I know that's not what you're asking for, but it might serve as a temporary filler

I think that you and your widescreen compatriots will be glad to hear that I too have recently purchased a widescreen monitor. The addition of the fact that I will be finished with my degree relatively soon means that there is a good chance we could see some work go into getting widescreen images here. Stay tuned.
