I'm sorry that you guys have to suffer with that "Failure". Well I'm attached to you guys (Americans) via 10,000 kms (canadaian miles LOL) of border, so techinically I guess he could be the sealer of my fate just as easy. I'm hoping he behaves for the next two years then google can add him as the first page to list under "History". Tim I appreciate your speaking out, but it also happens some of us feel as much in the opposite direction. This is how politics are or else we would not be democracies. We have freedom of speech. You will most likely be offended for the rest of your life like the rest of us. Religion, politics, it divides and brings people together. You just happened to stumble upon a page that offends you. It's happened to me too. I don't think being 16 makes your opinion 'childish'. I certainly think it is valid, but your temper and attitude could cause people to stereotype you, since this behaviour is more common in kids (but most certainly not exclusive too). Don't be surprised when people respond to you full out attacking them. Being 16 doesn't make a person a kid (or fifteen Andrew). A thirty year old could just as easy exhibit childish behaviour.

Satire and criticism of politicians is as old as politics itself – from current exponents such as Jon Stewart, Bremner, Bird & Fortune etc right back through Elizabethan times with the scurrilous satirical pamphlets and on even to things such as Ancient Rome when citizens would air their political grievances against the Senate via graffiti on the city walls. Politicians have to accept this as do their supporters – it’s all part of the game and is part of the freedom of speech and the press that we supposedly enjoy. If they or their supporters can’t live with that, then really have no place in politics in the first instance. You cannot spout off the praises of the ‘great liberator’ Dubya but then try to vilify and censor anyone who would mock or speak out against him – it’s just plain hypocrisy. Quite apart from anything else Tim, I’m still mystified as to your stance on what a great president he is – you aren’t really old enough to have any basis for a reasonable comparison to judge what is or is not a good president. His actions to date both domestically and in the international arena certainly don’t point to him being remembered fondly by history.

Google is good for things like that, for instance if you go to www.google.co.uk and type in f**kwit (reinserting the missing characters instead of the asterisks) then right up there near the top of the list is the government home page for British Deputy Prime Minister, The Right Honorable (that’s a laugh) John Prescott :-)

for those that don't know me, oops, i guess that means everyone in the site :P, i happen to appreciate artists for their art, not their age. i also think i'm pretty fair minded, as might be displayed by some of my comments elsewhere. yes, i think our president is a total waste of $400,000 a year. hell, i think he'd be a waste of minumum wage too, but that's just me. someone wants to sing his praises? have at..i may think they're nuts, but it's their right to BE nuts. i just won't suffer the the tantrums of anyone, especially someone acting like a child, nor will i just idly accept personal attacks. so, if i came off seeming like the boogie man, i'm not.
