I mean .. none of us have ever taken a picture of a building facade in a tourist district .. right? ..

YUP.... there are a few places like that over here... you cant even take pics or video your own kids playing sport, playing in the park or at a school concert.. you'll be arrested as a suspect pedophile.. if you take pics of the planes at the airport or the RAAF you'll be arrested as a suspect terrorist.... welcome to the land of oz... and you guys complain about freedom of speech... sheeeez we cant even have freedom of camera... LOL.... Makes you wonder what weapons of mass destruction hidden in the food court... salmonella of the roo burger?? the mind ponders... lol

I'd be surprised if they can enforce that in any way. I imagine people will take photos there now just to defy the rule (probably of the sign)

Its to prevent the Burger King and KFC people from shooting and pinching the recipe for Roo Burgers.
Plenty of 'obscure things' posted here - lol, building facades inlcuded.
It all seems a bit daft to me.
